Lina Marcussen

With an academic background in international development and public health, she sees equal access to quality health care as a right for everyone and knows the importance of building local projects. Lina has lived and traveled in Eastern Africa many times, and Tanzania was her first visit to Africa, it holds a special place in her heart
Wilson Lugiko
Boardmember
He is a clinical officer (medical practitioner) and has been working in different parts of Tanzania, both in rural and urban areas. His passion is to provide primary healthcare to those who really need it.

Emma Kustermans

She has a master’s degree in language with a specialization in literature and Afrikaans and is therefore highly interested in (intercultural) communication and storytelling. She wants to spread the story of Martus Foundation as widely as possible.
Marin Hagemans
Founder
After visiting Tanzania for the first time, it got a very special place in her heart. She never lost the special bonding with Tanzania, and more specifically with Fortunatus. Martus Foundation is more than an expression of this close friendship, it is an expression of a shared desire to help others. She hopes that Martus Foundation could realize its goals and make sure no people are disadvantaged in healthcare services as she believes that living a healthy life should be possible for everyone.

His academic background in pharmacy and his work as a pharmacist, make him believe that the accessibility of medicines to those in need can help to improve the quality of their life. Having worked with both public and private health organizations, Marco extends his wishes to help the underserved communities in Tanzania.

Fortunatus Mabina
Founder
He is a medical expert by profession, qualified in clinical medicine with various experiences in medical practices. It's his hope as a board member and founder that, Martus Foundation will contribute to the quality and accessible healthcare services. Fortunatus is passionate about helping others and he cannot wait to contribute to a better, healthier life for people with disadvantaged social and economical backgrounds. It is his greatest calling to help others.
